Sally Stiven

Serving and Gifts Co-ordinator

Sally has attended this church with her husband since 1999. Her role is to enable people to find the area of service which suits them best, and to try to get everyone involved in some form of ministry. She also leads ladies’ Bible studies. Outside of helping with the church she enjoys playing golf and racquetball, running a Child Contact Centre, and being grandma to five beautiful grandchildren.

Phil Wiles

Phil and his wife Jan have been at VEC since 1990. They have four adult children who have grown up through the church family. Leadership has at various times encompassed home groups, music and now a second period of eldership. Phil worked in the third sector for nearly 40 years, including 10 years on the home staff of OMF International and 18 years as a Welfare Manager with the RAF Benevolent Fund until retirement at the end of 2018. Now assisting his son Tom to develop his drumming career, music and sport compete for time with family commitments.
