Andy joined VEC in 2018 with his wife and three children. He works for a German bank, and in his spare time plays in a band with some of the people on this page!

LEAD
Fiona joined VEC in 2018 with her husband and three children. She works as a specialist dyslexia and dyscalculia teacher and assessor. In her spare time she enjoys ballroom dancing as well as taking part in amateur dramatics.
PAUL HUNTER
YOUTH MINISTRY LEAD
Paul joined VEC in 2024, he has a heart for outreach and youth and is currently studying an evangelism course. He is very excited to be the new youth leader. He is married and has 4 boys.
BRIAN POWELL
ELDER
Brian and his family joined VEC after moving back to the UK in 2020. He has served as a missionary with OMF in the Philippines and Singapore over the past 30 years. He is married and has two teenage daughters.
MERRIE REYNOLDS
PRAYER MINISTRY
LEAD
Merrie joined VEC in 2014 and headed up the Loaves and Fishes Foodbank in Sevenoaks for 6 years. She has always had
a heart for Africa and have been on several volunteer trips to Uganda, Malawi and Kenya.
CHRIS STIVEN
ELDER
After a career in banking, during which he lived for 16 years in Japan and the Americas (North, South and Central) Chris has been actively retired since 2002.
He and his wife Sally have been coming to VEC since 1999. They have two grown-up children and five grandchildren.
SALLY STIVEN
SERVING AND GIFTS MINISTRY LEAD
TEMPORARY SAFEGUARDING OFFICER
Sally has been part of the VEC family with her husband since 1999. Her role is to enable people to find the area of service which suits them best, and to try to get everyone involved in some form of ministry. She also leads ladies’ Bible studies. She is a grandma to five beautiful grandchildren.
LAURA STOCKBURN
ADMINISTRATOR
Laura has been at VEC since 2019, is mother to 4 boys and lives in Dartford. Laura is thrilled to part of the team, having begun her role in October 2024, and is excited to see where God is leading VEC.
GLENN WALSH
PASTOR
Glenn and his wife Sarah came to VEC from St Peters Hextable where they served for eight years. They have a background of church planting, mission and youth work. They have six daughters, nine grandchildren (at present) and have fostered many children through Bexley Social Services. .
